Dolly Parton Imagination Library (DPIL) is a program that gifts FREE BOOKS to ALL children ages birth-five years old every month. It is an initiative that spans throughout the United States and the world. The goal is to deliver high quality, age
appropriate books to children in order to foster a love for reading.

Reading helps to improve vocabulary, develop communication skills, stimulate a child’s iniagination, build granm1ar and writing skills …. and the list goes on. Reading to a child is crucial to their development and learning processes. Taking the time to read to your child fosters a bonding time like no other; one that is very important for a child’s emotional health.

This program gives all families the opportunity to be able to nurture their child’s love for reading by providing a book every month until age five.
